Admire the stunning beaches and islands around the coast. Discover and trek to one of the most beautiful islands, hike to Bohey Dulang. The trip also includes lunch and stops at two other islands for swimming, snorkelling or diving. Sail to Bohey islands, which were formed from volcanic leftovers, hike through 600 meters across beautiful scenery to the tops. From the summit, see the youthful green mountain and the turquoise-blue lagoon below.

Then visit Mantabuan Island, a crumbling brick remnant that formerly housed a tiny community of sea gipsies, dive into the clear waters and marvel at the vibrant reef with coral and tropical fish. Enjoy a local lunch under the canopy's shade after diving or snorkelling. The second snorkelling trip is Sibuan Island, which islanders seldom see. Snorkel and admire a stunning underwater formation that is home to millions of vibrant fish, or take in the view on the beach before return back jetty.

After meeting up and completing a brief registration process aboard the boat, located at the jetty pelancong semporna.

Bohey Dulang Island

Your adventure will begin as you sail towards the stunning Tun Sakaran Marine Park and the beautiful Bohey Dulang islands, formed from remnants of volcanic activity. Once there, embark on the walk up to 600 meters, enjoying the fascinating sights that await you along the journey.

Bohey Summit

At the summit, enjoy breathtaking views of the nearby islands and the sparkling waters of the Celebes Sea. The view showcases the vibrant green peak and the stunning turquoise-blue waters of the lagoon below, forming a breathtaking landscape that stands out beautifully. (those choose not to participate will need to wait at the jetty)

Mantabuan island

Next, head to Mantabuan island, a former home to a small population of sea gipsies who lived their entire lives on the sea, rarely heading to land, now showcasing the charming remnants of crumbled brick. After a quick basic snorkelling or guided diving with a safety briefing, dive into the blue waters and be enchanted by the vibrant reef teeming with coral and schools of tropical fish.

Lunch

After snorkelling or diving, enjoy a delightful gourmet deli lunch in the refreshing shade of the canopy. There could be a shift in which island we visit first based on the sea tide and lunch time, but we always strive to ensure the experience is enjoyable. Swim stops are typically 2, lasting around 20 minutes each for DSD diving with an instructor, not counting the safety briefing or the total duration for each snorkelling trip.

Sibuan island

For our second snorkelling stop, we are excited to take you to the beautiful Sibuan Island, a hidden gem that even the locals seldom visit! Our boat captain will choose the most exciting spots to explore on the day, taking into account the weather conditions. At this remote island bay, you can snorkel on a beautiful blue sand beach, enjoy the view of a stunning stone arch along the coastline, or perhaps be amazed by a magnificent underwater formation, teeming with thousands of vibrant fish.

A great hike up to the view on Bohey but well worth it before a couple of beautiful snorkels in some of the clearest blue oceans I have seen. Would certainly recommend. The guides were also very funny and friendly

The best trip in semporna

We did the activity with Nomade, and the tour was incredible—one of the best experiences of our entire trip. The duration was perfect, and we had plenty of time to enjoy every activity without feeling rushed.

All the staff and guides were extremely kind, friendly and helpful. They shared lots of interesting information about the places we visited and helped us take some lovely photos. We especially appreciated how attentive they were: when we arrived at one of the snorkelling spots and found jellyfish, they quickly took us somewhere else so that everyone could swim and enjoy the experience safely.

A special mention goes to Adam (I’m sorry if I’ve misspelled his name), who was the best guide we had during our entire trip. He made the day truly unforgettable

Amazing experience! The organization was very smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the day. Bohey Dulang is absolutely stunning, and the snorkeling spots were beautiful. Was a super lovely day, started with going to the island for hike and then stopping for a snorkelling spot and then a yummy lunch and more snorkelling. They also provided towels and a 2l water for every person was very generous. Our guides were super fun and took us to these amazing snorkelling spots heaps of marine life and coral. Would highly recommend.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a pickup or have to go to the meeting point?

For all island hopping tours, travellers must head to our meeting location, which is located at the Jetty Pelancong Semporna, and search for our partner.

Are there any free cancellation policy due to bad weather?

All the island hopping tours are still on as usual, except for the hiking tour. If the hiking gets cancelled last minute because of government instructions, we’ll refund the fee for that hike, but the rest of the tours will go ahead as planned.

How can I find out if the hike is on or if it's been cancelled?

We can't really figure that out right since weather is subject to change at any minute. upon payment, we'll send the permit to the local government since Bohey Island is theirs. As soon as the payment is confirmed, we'll get the registration submitted right away. If we have to cancel, we'll reach out to the travellers right away to sort out the refund for the hike once the tour finishes.

Could you arrange for a vegan or vegetarian option?

Yep, it's totally free, and there are no extra charges. Just give us a quick reminder up when you make your reservation or the day before tour date so our staff can get everything ready for you.

Can you pay or participate hike at the last minute without a reservation?

Sorry, but can't do that. Right now, all government needs an advance permit, and we can't get things sorted out at the last minute. It's just how the regulations and insurance work. So, it's a good idea to book ahead since can't really add anything last minute anyway.
