Perfect 4 days trip

We did 4 days tour, wadi rum, Petra and Aqaba. Mohamad from Echo tours took care of all. He did it perfect, recommended places to eat and shop and was available to all of our questions.

Fantastic adventure from global odyssey on cruise ship

Nizar was our guide and as a native he knew Wadi Rum extremely well. Our tour was everything we expected and more—a memorable day—challenging and a rewarding learning experience.

I’ve visited places all over the world and this will stay as a favorite. The Sands, formations, freedom of the desert, warmth then coolness as the sun sets is magnificent.

Highly recommend this tour. My only caution is that you realize you are experiencing another culture so don’t expect a limo to pick you up—“Air” conditioned means “air!” Dress appropriately and you should be fine with the heat. Bring lots of water as the desert air dries your throat fast.

This is a UNESCO SITE not to be missed is you are fit and ready for an adventure.

P.S.: our guide made a quick stop at the visitor center prior to entry for restrooms, snacks, or water. Also, here is where you can get a great shot of the seven pillars of wisdom.

Excellent customer service and experience

We had a brilliant trip into the Wadi Rum to see the sites including the sunset. Everything was organised for us so we didn't have to worry about anything and at a reasonable price. The driver was timely and professional and gave us a history of the Wadi Rum on the way. Highly recommend using this group.

You should stay overnight in Wadi Rum

Definitely. We’re glad that we went at all—it was a last minute decision. Their office was located very near our hotel which was convenient. They answered our questions (we had a gazillion) and personalized the tour. Our one regret is that we didn’t stay overnight. (Stay overnight in Wadi Rum. I’m not the boss of you or anything but, truly. The sunset against the backdrop of the other-worldly landscape would be worth it.)

We opted for a two-hour trip (instead of the six because of time constraints—we had a bus to catch) we would have liked to see more. Some of the anecdotal pieces of information shared by our guide were interesting but repetitive and I just wanted to run around in the sand and take pictures of a caravan of camels silhouetted against the sky.

I received no less than three marriage proposals in Wadi Rum. They offered my husband his own caravan of camels (in varying quantities) for my delightfulness. Just thought I’d bring that up—for no particular reason other than it’s likely going to be part of your Wadi Rum experience as well. Lol.

I still vote that you stay overnight.

There are numerous options for all price ranges and they happily sync what you’d like to happen with what they have to offer.

Definitely recommend going through them.

Frequently asked questions

Where is the stay located?

The stay lies in the Unesco Wadi Rum Desert, giving travellers a chance to unwind the stay on the red sand that totally resonates with Mars. We're not into selling super cheap stuff and then sending it to Disah or outside of Wadi Rum. This isn't red sand and it's basically merely a scam or touting. Our experience is all about giving travellers a real and authentic experience.

Does the tour include pickup and drop-off?

We can arrange the pick-up and drop-off at wadi rum village, visitor center, or memories aicha luxury campsite. So, you can expect to be picked up around 9:30 am or 1 pm daily. Check-out starts at 9 am, but if you need to catch a bus at 9 am, we can arrange an early transfer for you at 8:30 am. Yep, all of this is included, no doubt!

Can I get a refund if I missed some tour or only participated partial?

Unfortunately, the tour is a package deal, so it's not really possible to refund or change that. It might be best to just join in.

Can you arrange for a vegan or vegetarian option?

Yep, it's totally free and there are no extra charges. Just give us quickly reminder up when you make your reservation or the day before you check in, so our staff can get everything ready for you.

Will the guide able to speak French, German, Italian, and other languages?

Unfortunately locals guide only speak English or Arabic. What you see on the website is just a reservation staff that is not located in Jordan and was engaged on a commission basis. At the time all travellers arrive at Wadi Rum, I am confident that no one will be able to communicate in any other language.

I don't have a car, can you help?

Definitely, some travellers might find it a little tricky to get to or from Wadi Rum or might need some help. We can totally arrange the transfer anywhere in Jordan but keep in mind there will be an extra charge for that. Drop us an email with your pickup location, and we'll get back to you with a quote.
