There is a chance that bad weather, rivers, traffic, or changes in how the company runs could cause the tour's start time to be pushed back. If a tour has to be cancelled due to bad weathers, etc, we will try to arrange the alternative time during the tour. The trip commences with a stay at hotels or a resort in Sandakan on day one. Then, for the next two nights, you’ll be living it up at either a resort or a homestay in Kinabatangan. Since the tour includes accommodation, it’s wise to book ahead !

Does the tour include pickup and drop-off?

All scheduled pick-up and drop-off are included. The pickup time is set for 8 am, either at Sandakan airport or any hotel within the Sandakan or Sepilok areas. This early start is required because of the feeding time for the orangutans.

What happens if I miss the pick-up on the check-in date?

Being on time is crucial for this shared tour—think of it as a group date where no one wants to be the one left waiting! We can't do much about lateness, but if you're feeling adventurous, we can arrange a pick-up later. Just be prepared to wave goodbye to the attractions that have already come and gone!

Can I get a refund if I missed some tour or only participated partial?

Unfortunately, the tour is none refundable so it's not really possible to refund or change that. It might be best to just join in. All itinerary could change due to some rough weather or animal safety concerns.

The eco-camp runs on solar power and keeps things breezy with natural ventilation without electricity! This experience offers a genuine, immersive time in the forest—it's not about luxury resorts. It's all about a real adventure, where you'll find shelters with bucket showers and cosy sleeping mats right under the forest canopy or in a homestay.

Would you arrange for a vegan or vegetarian option?

Yep, it's totally free and there are no extra charges. Just give us quickly reminder up when you make your reservation or the day before you check in, so our staff can get everything ready for you.

Are all wildlife guaranteed to be seen?

In a wildlife area, animals roam like they own the place, so spotting them is more of a game of hide-and-seek than a guarantee! Our guide is like a seasoned detective, ready to track down those elusive critters with all the enthusiasm !
