Kota Kinabalu: 5-in-1 Kinabalu View, Fire Show, Blue Tear

Tony was a really nice tour guide. First, we went to the UMS Pink Mosque (we all decided to skip Bandaraya Mosque this time) and enjoy our time before heading to the river cruise spot. Once there, we could enjoy a boat tour along the mangroves, where we saw many macaques. Unfortunately, they had to cancel the boat tour due to heavy rain and thunderstorms, then we couldn’t witness the fireflies and blue tears.

Amazing day, visited the two mosques blue and pink where we stopped for photos and a visit inside one with clothes provided, then onto the river cruise through the mangrove where the monkeys climbed onto the boat. We then to the beach to watch the sunset with fireworks before heading off to see fireflies and the blue tear and finally a buffet dinner by the water. Steven was an amazing guide who was happy to take photos and call monkeys over 😂 would 100% recommend but bring insect repellent!

It was a great trip. We met up with the guide at the mosque and the trip to the chocolate factory was a nice excursion. The river trip was fabulous with lovely local food provided. The sunset at the beach was incredible. Would thoroughly recommend

It was a great afternoon out. We visited the 2 famous mosque in KK, and took a drive out to Tuaran where the boat cruise starts. The guides were experienced and sincere with giving the guests a good tour of the place. We managed to see the fireflies, which we came for, some long tail monkeys and caught a couple of small crabs and one fish. We managed to see the famous golden sunset and the boatman treated us to a fireworks display once it became dark. We were surprised with Tea provided upon arrival at the jetty , served to us with special coconut pudding and local kuehs. We were also served buffet dinner. The locals made us feel at home.

the trip was much better than expected! it was great, my friends and i had a very fun and enjoyable time. thank you!!
