Starting location:

Once travellers get picked up from the Semporna jetty or hotel directly, hop on a boat and get ready for an awesome adventure into the vibrant underwater world of Buwan Dive Reef.

Buwan dive centre

When you get to the dive centre, meet the captain, and then the dive guides will give you a rundown on the dive sites.

Ready first dive

You can do 1 or 2 dives, each lasting about 45 minutes, depending on what you choose (this is just for Advanced Open Water Divers). If you go for two dives, you can catch a sunset dive during those beautiful golden hours otherwise a night dive inclusive. Depending on what you choose, you can chill on the resort or throw on your wetsuit, grab your diving gear, tank, and torches, then dive into the water at the resort for an awesome experience of checking out the underwater world up close. Stay on the lookout for fish, cool little critters, and all sorts of marine life. For instance, you could come across electric clams, sea horses, sea dragons, frogfish, flamboyant cuttlefish, shrimps, crabs, blue ring octopuses, nudibranchs, and a tonne of other cool stuff!

Grab some dinner on the way back and take a boat or transfer ride to Semporna town after a fun day of night sea adventures.

Is there a pickup or have to go to the meeting point?

Sure thing! let us know the locations. We can pick you up at the jetty in Semporna or any hotel, and that includes the transfer. Just so you know up, the starting times are different for one dive and two dives, but the round trip is all included.

Are there any free cancellation policy due to bad weather?

All diving tours continue as usual! If an experience gets cancelled last minute due to government instructions, we’ll happily refund the full fee. However, cancellations for personal reasons aren’t possible.

Could you arrange for a vegan or vegetarian option?

Yep, it's totally free, and there are no extra charges. Just give us a quick reminder up when you make your reservation or the day before tour date so our staff can get everything ready for you.

Does all gear inclusive and diving certificate is required?

Absolutely, we’ll get all the diving gear ready - suits, gas, masks, tanks, you name it. but diving coms isn't included in the reservation, and travellers must have an advanced diving certificate ready on site for inspection. It's good to keep in mind that this is a must even before you make your reservation.

How deep is the dive?

This activity has a maximum dive depth of 20 meters for safety, the night dive is partially mud bottom, and you may expect to see a lot of macro critters.
