This trip to Turpan and having a guided tour was a most wonderful experience. We have had guided tours before when travelling around the world, including other ancient cities, like Pompeii, Britain and other places in China; this Turpan tour was the most fantastic. Our guide was not only knowledgeable and professional, but he was also very courteous and charming. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful time. We visited sites of antiquity, modern splendor, and cultural and religious diversity. The guide was great. She spoke very good English and communicated well to understand my specific interests and explain aspects of the sites that were relevant to my interests. Frequently asked questions
What thing should I know before booking this tour?
Everyone who wants to travel needs to have their real passport with them; a copy will not do. Just to remind you, make sure you have your passport and a visa that is still good. If you forget your passport, you might not be able to buy a ticket. All tourists are required by law to have their passport with them when they leave the hotel. As a tour operator, we can't refund travellers their money back if they can't get to the identify because of an issue with their passport or something else that's out of our control.
Does the tour include pickup and drop-off?
Totally sure about it! We can arrange a pick-up from anywhere in the Turpan area, including the north train station. This service has got you covered with both pick-up and drop-off to make things super easy. If looking for a transfer outside of the Turpan areas, we can’t make that happen at the moment. Sorry about that!
How the payment work for personal entry on site?
In China, WeChat and Alipay are the go-to options for local payments. Unfortunately, international cards just don’t work for entry or local purchases. So, if you haven’t linked WeChat or Alipay to your international card, it’s a good idea to keep some cash handy for personal expenses.
Can I get a refund if I missed some tour or only participated partial?
Unfortunately, the tour is none refundable so it's not really possible to refund or change that. It might be best to just join in.
Is it possible to have an on-site guided to the inside attraction?
A travellers can add a guide within the attraction to our product by purchasing the guide option. Two staff members, a driver and a guide, will be needed for this experience. However, our standard options already include a driver who acts as a guide; this person does not accompany the tourists inside the site, but can provide background information on the tour's history and specifics before the tourists even step foot inside.
How does a customised request work?
This means that, depending on the agreements between both parties, travellers may put in special requests, like choosing which tours and attractions to hit up or skip, and even suggesting possible routes.
